Inspired by walks in Corfu, a visit to the New Venetian Fortress and discussions about the idea of Labyrinth, Tereza Bílová, ERASMUS exchange student from Tomas Bata University in Zlín, Czech Republic, proposed to create an video and interactive piece based on the work of John Amos Comenius (Jan Amos Komensky), The Labyrinth of the World and the Paradise of the Heart. A team is being formed with George Überall, also a student from Tomas Bata University, and Ömer Hajiserif, Vassilis Charmanis, 3d year students at AVARTS and others. Ömer and Vassilis will do the sound design. The work will be based on video and sound recordings made in the Old Town of Corfu, which reminds Tereza of a Labyrinth.
The plan is to show this work in the spaces of the New Venetian Fortress of Corfu.
