Stasi

Projects > Performances > Stasi > Stasi

Stasi is an audiovisual live performance with openFrameworks and SuperCollider.

The piece is inspired by a short story of Alexandros Papadiamantis (1851 - 1911) titled: "The Fallen Dervish" (Ο Ξεπεσμένος Δερβίσης).
Read it in Greek

On SuperCollider we are synchronizing our beats via OSC. One of us (the "Coordinator") broadcasts a beat to the others using TempoClock. The others receive the beats in Fibonacci Sequence and create their TempoClocks whenever needed. The Coordinator also broadcasts the tempo value of the clock and its beat structure. We use a couple of SCClasses created by [Members-IannisZannos|Iannis Zannos]]].

A few words about interaction in "Stasis" by Dakis Trentos and Omer Chatziserif Only in Greek at the moment

On openFrameworks we use masks + particle systems + feedback. More Coming Soon

For Audio Diffusion we use a Tascam DM 3200
